When Roe vs Wade was overturned we came together to think about how we could respond, but as we are three different Women
whose backgrounds have seen us experience the world in very different ways, we wanted to be sure that the story that we told
reflected all three of our lived experiences. Feminism has often had a problem with intersectionality and we wanted to avoid this.
Our younger selves, as well as adult Women currently in the film industry, have had to deal with being shamed for our anger.
This film serves as a creative way to express it, as well to examine why this experience is still sadly so common for many Women.
We want to pay homage to the revolutionaries that came before us, our own personal heroes such as Gloria Steinem, Angela
Davis and Maxine Waters, via archive and visuals and graphics inspired by the feminist movement of the 1960’s and 70’s.
As a team we are passionate about creating engaging stories and finding unique ways to amplify voices, bringing new light to
forgotten or ignored moments in history/herstory.
